Pin Livecricket to your Android home screen
Livecricket runs in the browser already, so the quickest way to make it feel like an app is to pin it to the home screen. The icon opens this month's matches full screen, with no file to download and no setting to change. Three taps, under a minute.
One tap and it is done; nothing is downloaded and nothing is granted. If the button does nothing on your phone, the three steps below end up in the same place.
Livecricket is already pinned on this phone — open it from the home screen.
Hoping for an APK? There is none, and that page explains what to do instead.
1Open tv.livecricket.is in Chrome and find the menu
Type tv.livecricket.is into Chrome's address bar. Once the match list is on screen, tap the three dots at the top right.
2Tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”
One of those two lines is in the menu; the wording depends on the phone and both do the same thing. Tap it.
Chrome may also offer it by itself, as a bar along the bottom of the page. That bar is a shortcut to the same box.
3Confirm
A small box with the Livecricket icon appears. Tap Install (Add on some phones) and the icon lands on the home screen.
Tap the three lines at the bottom right, then Add page to, then Home screen, then Add.
If a small install icon shows up in the address bar, tapping that goes straight to the same place.
✓Done
Livecricket now opens from its own icon, full screen, with no address bar. Tap a match and it plays; to put it on the television instead, cast it or use the TV's browser.
If it goes differently on your phone
Neither line is in the menu
Then the page is open inside another app's browser, the one built into Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, and those cannot pin anything. Copy tv.livecricket.is, open Chrome or Samsung Internet yourself, and paste it there.
The icon opens with the address bar still showing
Chrome made an ordinary shortcut rather than an install. Delete that icon, do the three steps again, and this time tap Install in the box rather than Create shortcut.
Is there a file to download instead?
No. Livecricket has no APK; this page says why, and the pin above does everything an app would.
